Olympic Gold Medalist Says “Come to the Gay Games”
One of the great stories from the 2008 Olympics in Beijing was the gold medal won by Australian Matthew Mitcham over the heavily favored Chinese divers. Matthew is also openly gay and the Federation of Gay Games recently scored Matthew’s video endorsement of the 2010 Gay Games in Cologne Germany. Behind the scenes, FGG Board member Kate Rowe from Australia says that Matthew is incredibly sweet, and very driven to win another gold medal at the 2012 Olympics in London.
