Chicago’s Raging River Rapids
Looking for something fun and different to do on a sunny summer day? Take a trip down by the river. For many years the Chicago River was cautioned as being potentially toxic and hazardous to patron’s health. Well, not anymore. I’m not saying go down and take a cool sip, but practicing some water sports or outdoor adventures is certainly encouraged.
The other day, an All Terrainer went down to Water Riders – located at Kingsbury Yacht Club on the Riverwalk at 950 North Kingsbury Street in Chicago- with several friends and took a 2.5 hour architectural tour by Kayak to celebrate her birthday. Charlie, the guide and owner, even stopped the tour to pull out a eukulele and sing Happy Birthday!
