Meeting the Prez!

So for those of you who I didn’t text enthusiastically last Thursday…I met (shook hands) with President Obama. I attended a fundraising event with Sarah (my biz partner) and her husband.  There we also met friends Jay Cutler (QB for the Bears) and Jeff Jacobs.

This is a photo I took from my phone of Barack right before he shook my hand.  It is blurry as Blackberries don’t take great photos.

His hands where really big and I remember thinking he could use some lotion. A testimony to his lack of any anxiousness after delivering a great speech!  He looked me right in the eye and said “good to see you again!”

I have met 2 presidents now; Bill Clinton and Barack Obama— both dynamic and inspirational people….His speech last week about Healthcare was very spirited.  He had the Chicago audience in the “palm of his hand” … especially me :)!
