Vince Vaughn celebrates in Chicago with fiancé Kayla Weber
This past Saturday night my two girlfriends and I had the pleasure of setting sail with Vince Vaughn, his fiancé Kayla Weber, and Vince’s family and friends, inclusive of the most awesome Peter Billinglsy. At 8:30pm sharp the Mystic Blue left Navy Pier and sailed into a beautiful summer night. Aboard the boat we drank champagne, had a wonderful dinner, watched fireworks and danced our butts off to some of the most cheesy (AKA fun) music a “wedding” DJ could spin. This was no wedding but it sure felt like an engagement party. Kayla Weber, who is now engaged to Vince, spent time mingling and introducing herself to the guests. This beautiful Canadian couldn’t have been nicer. While there are so many highlights from this evening, two of my favorites are: Vince wearing a Hawks jersey the whole night (Go Hawks!) and meeting Vince’s 65 year old mother who is amazingly pretty and in ridiculous shape!
This photo is not from Saturday of Vince and Kayla but from a game in Calgary. The photo of Peter and I is from Saturday when we all continued the festivities at Cuvee, a new hot spot in River North. Our pal Ivan at Cuvee took great care of us all. I highly recommend checking out this new lounge.
