Big props to Clare and a healthy number of All Terrain’ers for their work on the Chicago launch event of Bud Light Platinum! All Terrain produced Monday’s packed-out party at Deuce’s + the Diamond Club in Wrigleyville.

Guests were literally among the first in the world to taste Platinum, while enjoying beats from DJ Greg Corner and upscale bar bites. One lucky winner went home with 2 passes aboard the Bud Light Port Paradise Cruise — 4 days, 3 nights, 2 ships and 1 surprise island concert in the Bahamas! Not bad. A runner-up scored a 4-pack of Bulls tickets.

As for Platinum itself, the latest from Anheuser-Busch is now available in stores and most establishments. Platinum is distinct in appearance; it’s served in a signature cobalt blue bottle. It has 6% alcohol by volume, as compared to Bud Light’s 4.2 and Budweiser’s 5. Despite the differences, Platinum tastes pretty similar to Bud Light, albeit a touch sweeter. A-B is positioning the beer as a sleek and smart nightlife alternative, hoping to wrangle a share of vodka’s general ownership of the clubs. We hear that Platinum is making a grand entrance on the national stage with some highly anticipated spots during Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Thanks to the AT staff who went above the call for this one. From check-in and A/V to load-out and emcee, more than half of our staff was on hand, helping in various roles. One of the finer examples of a total team effort we’ve seen in quite some time. All Terrain most definitely #MadeItPlatinum.
