With only a few weeks left of summer, make sure you make it out to Chicago’s Green City Market, located at the south end of Lincoln Park between Clark and Stockton.  The market promotes local, sustainable famers, producers and chefs and provides educational programming and special events.

The market is open Wednesday and Saturdays from 7AM to 1PM.  Get there early for a complementary cup of coffee or purchase fresh baked goods from Floriole Bakery, Bennison’s Bakery or Hoosier Mama Pie Co.
