Virgil Williams, a long time friend of mine, moved to LA on a dream and a prayer and about $700 dollars that we raised for him in a bar! Let’s say his journey went well. From staff writer positions on popular shows like 24 and ER, today he is looking at a TV deal and a co-executive producer role with Denzel Washington on a TV show Virgil Wrote.
Here is a little note Virgil recently sent me, “I can’t stop thinking about my going away party u threw me at Holiday, where all u guys took up a collection for me to get back out to LA. I love you. I miss you. And I’m proud to be where I’m from.luv”
