Quick follow-up to yesterday’s Powerball post; our friends at Illinois Lottery whipped up a fun video chronicling A Day in the Life of a Powerball.
As the state braces itself for tomorrow’s $310 Million drawing, it’s business as usual for one of the famous big red balls. From the gym and the bus to the office and lunch, cameras shadow Mr. Powerball during his daily routines. Along the way, however, he bumps into his lucky numbers for the 13th largest Lottery jackpot in US history. Winnings so enticing that even Powerballs are playing Powerball!
Unconventional methodology, but if anyone knows how to play the game, it’s a Powerball. He’s not the only notorious Illinois figure to stand in line for a $2 ticket. Word spread today that Gov. Quinn purchased his yesterday.
Should he hit it lucky, he’s pledged to not only keep his job, but would use the money to pay down the state’s massive backlog of unpaid bills. Might not be such a bad thing.
