Back the Bid, Chicago 2016

Chicagoans keep your fingers crossed this coming week! Only 7 more days until the International Olympic Committee meets on October 2nd in one of my favorite cities, Copenhagen, Denmark, to declare the destination of the 2016 Olympic Games!  While President Obama may not be in attendance, first Lady Michelle Obama and Chicago’s favorite Oprah Winfrey will be there to Back the Bid.  Along with them will be 26 athletes including Brandi Chastain, Nadia Comaneci, Gary Hall, Jr., April Holmes, Michael Johnson, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Nastia Liukin, and Kerri Walsh to support one of America’s favorite cities!
