Today I pulled a 41 ton plane

Today at Midway airport’s Southwest Airlines hanger, hundreds of family and friends of Ronald McDonald House Charities gathered to pull a 41 TON Southwest 737 airplane to support the Chicagoland area Ronald McDonald House Charities. Ronald McDonald Houses provide a haven for families of children undergoing treatment for serious illnesses or injuries at Loyola and other hospitals in the Chicagoland area. The house is open to families withchildren who are hospitalized and also to those whose children are being treated as outpatients.
Over the last year my aunt, ironically named Heather McDonald (!), has spent hundreds of hours volunteering with this very special organization that she has come to love very much. She has involved our family in several wonderful volunteer activities including cooking dinner for the families, collecting pop-tops at our work or schools (which are recycled in exchange for funds), donating holiday gifts to children saying at RM houses, and now the plane pull.
