Windy City Social’s Marketing Challenge
All Terrain recently participated in Windy City Social’s Marketing Challenge. Teams had a couple of hours to create an innovative campaign for one of three different companies: Chevy, Dreams for Kids, and The Chicago White Sox. The winning team for Dreams for Kids created an interactive campaign where 10,000 people would have 10 days to raise money to ultimately reach their goal of $1,000,000, with a delicious side idea of a Chicago Cupcake Crawl. White Sox teams had ideas about guest tweeters, real time Flickr fan fotos, and a Southside Sox Summer Festival. The Chevy winners created a model to get the word out for Cruze for a Cause: a YouTube video campaign where people competed to have 5 Cruzes for 5 days to assist their charitable causes.
Winners (All Terrain participant included!) received White Sox tickets, gift cards to restaurants and spas, tall ship cruise tickets, and a slew of other amazing prizes.
Good marketing really does pay off.
