All You Need Is Love

Dave Matthews Band has announced that it will make its final stop for their 2010 tour at Wrigley Field on Sept. 17 and 18 before taking 2011 off. The band has had a history of dedicating its tours to environmental causes, holding charity concerts to help benefit The Bam Foundation, and the lead singer, Dave Matthews, has been known to speak his mind about peace and love sans war. In 2009, a immensely dedicated DMB fan lost his life at the age of 30, but not after making an impact of Matthews and his huge fan base. Matt Wahleigh sat front and center holding up a sign that simply said “Love.”

Ever since his passing the “Love Movement” has become front and center. People attend with their own homemade “Love” signs while others sport “Love” buttons. The message is simple, live life with generosity and kindness, something that DMB has been preaching since the beginning. Many of the band member make sure they have their buttons during each show and have become the perfect spokespeople for such an important cause.
